Accrington Shed

Shed scene at Accrington (24A) on 25 September 1960 looking east with Charter Street on the right. The shed was located on the East Lancs between the stations of Church & Oswaldtwistle (behind camera) and Accrington. Closed to steam in March 1961, the shed saw some further use as a DMU servicing depot. It was eventually demolished in the 1970s and housing now occupies the site.
