St Margarets Shed

Standing on London Road in September 2010, looking down on where Bill Jamieson was looking up in 1972 see image 27804.  St Margarets shed was to the right of the ECML on a site now occupied by dull government office blocks, one of which is currently empty.  To the left of the line ran Clockmill Lane, at the far end of which was the entrance to Piershill station.  The lane was obliterated for the construction of outbuildings for Meadowbank Stadium, opened for the Commonwealth Games, 40 years before the current games in Delhi.
