Tynemouth
View over the concourse towards the abandoned bays at the south end of Tynemouth station in August 2010. See image 19724 for a similar view nearly thirty years earlier. While some general improvements are noticeable the station roof has remained the main concern here for some time. Happily, funding to carry out restoration of the roof and supporting ironwork has now been secured.
