Whalley

A new signal, controlled from Horrocksford Junction, has been installed at Whalley during the line upgrade and means that southbound trains no longer have to wait at Clitheroe while the preceding service clears Daisyfield Junction. 150141 leaves the long viaduct, reputed to contain 7 million bricks, and enters Whalley on its way to Clitheroe.
