A train for Lakeside runs in to Newby Bridge Halt on 29 July behind 0-6-0ST Repulse. Summer trains on the LHR can be very busy and the six MkI coaches on this service were well loaded, mainly with passengers on combined tickets that include a cruise on Windermere.
