Preston
Unusual working arrangement at Preston on 4 August 2010. Instead of running from Blackpool South, the mid afternoon Colne service was cut back to start at Preston at 1520 and used bay platform 3C at the south end of the station. This pushed 153324 on the Ormskirk shuttle over into the rarely used 4C. In days gone by these bays were often used for stabling locomotives between turns but now only see units and only occasionally at that.
