Witton-le-Wear [2nd]
The level crossing and gatekeepers accommodation at the bottom of Station Road, Witton-le-Wear, on the Weardale Railway. Note the groundframe to the right of the crossing. View is south east towards Bishop Auckland in May 2006. No trace remains of the station, which stood on the far side of the crossing and closed in 1965.
