Portobello Junction
Type 2 crossing the ECML to reach the sub with a cement train at Portobello Junction in 1972. The deck of the bridge in the background, which formerly carried the Lothian Lines, has been removed by this time. Note the sizeable embankment on either side. On the left is part of the area once occupied by the extensive Portobello yards.
