Cononley
Reopening works taking place at Cononley Station, near Skipton, in 1988 as a first generation DMU heads towards Leeds. Note the crossing cabin at the end of the platform to the left of the DMU. Originally opened in 1847, Cononley station closed to passengers in 1965 but was reopened on 20 April 1988, less than a month after this photograph was taken.
