Piccadilly Gardens tram station has recently been rebuilt with a new full length canopy. In this view from nearby City Tower new 3000 series tram 3002 rolls in on an Eccles service as a sister unit heads for Piccadilly Station. See image 22642 for a similar view taken in early 2009
