Lairg
Three generations of the photographer's family watch the mid-day train for Inverness slow to a halt at Lairg in the summer of 1969 behind D5344. Note the milk churns at the end of the low platform, which was subsequently removed from the front of the station building and recreated further north where full height could be accommodated without awkward changes of level.
