Rannoch

An enterprising vendor takes the risk of displaying postcards on the
platform of one Britain's damper stations in October 1997.  Note the
pre-privatisation ScotRail signs.  These appeared on the introduction of the Scotrail brand in 1984 and were in two parts, the blue part (originally red at Linlithgow alone) usually just added above the existing sign. They were gradually replaced by single signs with a dark-blue Scotrail strip along the bottom, but a few older ones like this survived into the privatised era.
