Dunfermline Queen Margaret

Hoping to influence the local rail traveller, a candidate for the
Dunfermline & West Fife seat in the General Election has placed some
placards in the field adjoining Queen Margaret station.  Meanwhile 158 731 pulls in on its first stop on a Cowdenbeath to Newcraighall service.  It has just passed, beyond the disused overbridge, the rusty loops at Townhill Junction, busy with Longannet coal trains until 2 years ago when the reopening of the Alloa line obviated the need for a lengthy detour and and some shunting.
