Ayr Shed [1st]
Trackbed of the line to the original Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway terminus at North Quay, Ayr, opened on 12 August 1840. Photographed in March 2010. (Information from the article 'Resorts for Railfans' in the January 1961 edition of Trains Illustrated, by G.H. Robin). [The first Ayr shed was on the right in the distance, just before the level crossing with the tramway.]
