Caledonia Works
The Caledonia works of Andrew Barclay & Sons Co (later Hunslet Barclay) were located to the south of West Langlands Street and were reached by a level crossing. Note the three rails crossing the road! This 1989 view looks south over the level crossing to the entry to the works. This building remains today but given over to other uses. See image 39875
