Dalmuir

The recently built footbridge at Dalmuir photographed on 17 February. This is a substantial structure linking all 5 platforms and has 3 lifts.  The Lanark train on Platform 4 gives an idea of scale.  Its solidity and permanence throws into contrast the portakabins which form the ticket window and staff accommodation: far more humble stations than this at least have a ticket office-cum-waiting room!
