Edinburgh Waverley
The 'flipover' Solari departure board at Waverely was replaced, after 27 years, with a bi-coloured LED affair which lasted only a fraction of that time. Here, in July 1997 the LED board, with a surprising amount of hardware, is taking shape behind the Solari. In turn it was replaced by the present all-yellow LED version as used throughout the network.
