Newton Abbot
English Electric Class 50 No. 50022 Anson draws forward under an impressive lower quadrant signal gantry at the west end of Newton Abbot in the summer of 1986. The train is an evening service from the Plymouth line and heading for Paddington. Anson was withdrawn in September 1988 and cut up at Vic Berry's yard in Leicester the following year.
