Aberdeen Guild Street

One of the last traditional city centre freight depots in Britain, Aberdeen Guild Street, seen here in 2003. The former Freightliner terminal is in the background, closed by Freightliner in 1987 and subsequently purchased and operated by John G Russell Transport. Making way for a retail development, Guild Street has now been replaced by new / enhanced railheads at Dyce, Craiginches and Waterloo Quay.
