Copley Hill Shed
Last of the line. An ex-GNR class J6 0-6-0, no 64226, photographed one month before it became the last member of the class to be withdrawn. The locomotive is seen here on 20 May 1962 standing outside the foreman's office at Copley Hill shed, Leeds. Following its withdrawal from 56C the J6 was cut up at Doncaster Works towards the end of June. Copley Hill shed closed in September 1964.
