Sheringham

Buffer stops on the North Norfolk Railway at Sheringham being removed on Thursday 14 January 2010 in preparation for reconnection to the National Rail Network via the Bittern Line to Norwich. The first train to use the new crossing (which is due to be installed next month) will be a DRS class 37 and a Network Rail inspection saloon on 24th February. The formal opening will be on Thursday 11 March when a Railway Touring Company charter with 70013 Oliver Cromwell hauling The Broadsman, will arrive with a through train from London.
