Braeside Junction
Not the most well-known of railway locations, partly due to its military associations - Braeside Junction on the Charlestown branch, looking north towards the RNAD terminus at Crombie (the left-hand line) and Elbowend Junction (the right-hand line) on the Dunfermline-Kincardine line. The branch headshunt and buffer stops are behind the photographer. This is 1998, by which time all the permanent way seen here had been mothballed for a number of years.
