Blackburn

Scene at the east end of Blackburn station on 3 June 1967. The building on the left is part of the old fish dock with the former parcels depot alongside. This has since been demolished and a supermarket car park now overlooks the station See image 22709. Black 5 no 45339 is standing on the left, while on the right is the LCGB Thames-Tyne Limited, bound for Carlisle via the S&C, with Britannia Pacific no 70039 Sir Christopher Wren taking on water.
