Blackburn
A Clitheroe to Manchester service emerges from the west end of Blackburn tunnel and runs into the station on 4th December 2009. The area in front of the two retaining walls was occupied by Blackburn East signal box until 1972, since when the track layout has been simplified and the tunnel lines are now bi-directional.
