Barrhead
On 20 September 1997, unit 156 456 waits in the bay at Barrhead to return to Glasgow. The platform lighting seems to be giving platform 2 the cold shoulder! Flourescent lighting was already a bit old-fashioned by this time and to be found at only a few locations in Scotland. Barrhead was to be upgraded in a matter of months.
