Leith North Goods

With D5308 in the rear, D368 eases the empty stock of the Royal Train into a temporary platform constructed near Leith North terminus on 16th October 1962, ready to convey King Olav of Norway on his state visit journey to Princes Street, where he was met by the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. The fleet of Edinburgh Corporation Transport double-decker buses in the background had brought schoolchildren to the docks to act as a welcoming party for the King.
