Preston Dock

Progress, one of seven Bagnall 0-6-0ST locos in use on the Preston dock system, is seen among some internal user wagons on the dockside in 1968, towards the end of steam working. Sister engine Princess survives at Haverthwaite See image 26556 and the name Progress was carried on one of the three Sentinel diesels that arrived in 1968 to replace the Bagnalls and is still used today on the Ribble Steam Railway.
