Bradford Exchange

The approach to Bradford Exchange in the 1960s showing an LMS 2-6-4T heading up the bank, a Class 24 approaching with what is probably empty coaching stock, and a Class 40, possibly waiting to become the train engine for that stock. At this time Bradford Exchange enjoyed through trains to London and these continued even after the station was cut back prior to becoming the much simplified Bradford Interchange see image 25061 The platforms for the 'new' Interchange station now extend almost to the point where the original signal gantry stood.
