Golant
China Clay from Goonbarrow, Rock Dries Siding, passes Golant as it approaches the unloading facility at Carne Point just north of Fowey. Moments before the train arrived a number of 'pedestrians' had to quit the trackbed. Readers of RAIL 630 will find this viewpoint strangely familar (p70) although a few houses have been repainted (and built) in the intervening years.
