Derker
It is D-day minus 2 and a Shaw & Crompton to Manchester Victoria service has just left Derker on it's way to Oldham Mumps in the hands of 142035. Two days later on 3 October 2009 the last heavy rail trains ran on the Oldham Loop. Conversion of the line to Manchester Metrolink tramway will take place over the next 2 to 3 years.
