Port Carlisle Branch Junction

Having passed Carlisle no 3 box and crossed the River Caldew, a Waverley route service for Edinburgh veers west away from the WCML at Port Carlisle Junction in December 1968. The train is crossing the goods lines on its way to Canal Junction, where it will eventually turn north. See image 26254
