Cullen Burn Viaduct

September 1961, in former Great North of Scotland Railway territory. A mixed goods train from Elgin heading towards Aberdeen skirts the Moray Coast town of Cullen, hauled by one of the ill-fated NBL Type 2s built in Glasgow between 1958 and 1960. 58 of the class were constructed, with 20 re-engined between 1963 and 1965 to improve reliability, but all had been withdrawn from service by 1971.
