Cook
This is Cook in the middle of the Nullarbor with the eastbound Indian Pacific from Perth to Adelaide and Sydney on 25th September 2008. A well named location - step out of the aircon into 30-odd degrees. An abandoned railway town, the population varies from 2 to 4, apparently. The train consists of 23 stainless steel cars and three car carrier wagons.
