Great Rocks Junction
The view south from the overbridge by Great Rocks signalbox along the former Midland main line to London. Great Rocks Junction marks the start of the double track section towards Chinley but south from here the lines are, left to right, the Down and Up Goods (to Buxton and Hindlow), the Down and Up Tunstead siding and the entrance to Tunstead Works. The full semaphore on the left controls the access from the Buxton line to the double track section, while the shunting semaphores control the Tunstead exits.
