If you haven't been to Midford for a while, you are in for a nice surprise. The viaduct has been cleared of vegetation and tarmacked, which certainly makes exploration easier. A Merchant Navy-hauled express sped across this viaduct in the opening shot of 'The Titfield Thunderbolt'. The camera then panned down to follow a rather more modest branch line train on the Camerton branch.
