Corwen
A short distance east of the former Corwen GWR station the route of the former line branching off to Ruthin can be seen curving off to the left along the tree line, before crossing the River Dee, with the main line that continued to Ruabon running straight ahead. The new Corwen Station, currently being built on the Ruabon line trackbed by the Llangollen Railway, lies across the junction of the two former lines, with the headshunt ending just out of view to the right before the removed bridge over Y Lon Las / Green Lane. An access road leading to a new sewage treatment plant now runs between the large tree and the trackside fence and cuts thro' the former Ruabon line trackbed.
