Wallneuk Junction
In 1987 an eastbound service from Paisley Gilmour Street station has just passed Wallneuk Junction. In the foreground are the remains of the line to Greenlaw Goods and Renfrew (nearest to camera) both of which had been lifted the previous year. The open line here is due to be quadrupled right through to Arkleston Junction despite the cancellation of the Glasgow Airport Rail Link.
