Pinkhill

Peppercorn A1 Pacific no 60151 Midlothian eastbound approaching Pinkhill on the Corstorphine branch in April 1964. The A1 is taking empty stock from Corstorphine station to Waverley, where it will form the 3.30pm Edinburgh - Berwick stopper. On Saturdays this train ran slightly later, leaving Waverley at 3.48 and enabled a North East based locomotive to return home, with the opposite turn bringing a St Margarets locomotive back to Edinburgh.
