Hoscar
A very wet afternoon at Hoscar station as a Southport to Manchester service rushes through on 26 August 2009. The train is not stopping at this rural station and the level crossing barrier is already lifting to allow road traffic to move on Hoscar Moss Road. Just out of shot to the left of the photo is the Railway public house, a very useful place to retreat to on such a miserable day!
