Passing HST seen from a road bridge near the village of Brinkworth, west of Wootton Basset on the GWR main line on 23 July. Apart from the odd sheep, inquisitive cows and several RAF C130s, all was quiet. The new engines on the HSTs are remarkably silent compared to the originals.
