Monte
The former station at Monte on the long-gone rack railway (CFM) that once climbed the hill behind the town of Funchal, Madeira, seen in May 2006. It was hoped to reopen from here up to the former top terminus (the track went up the slope to the left of the building). The locomotives were similar to the Snowdon engines. See image 24668
