Brock

A view northwards at Brock in the 1930s as a Royal Scot class 4-6-0 approaches on a passenger train that also seems to be conveying milk tanks. Comparison with the earlier picture See image 23684 shows that the signal box has moved from down to up side and the down starter has been replaced by an upper quadrant signal. Just behind that some goods wagons sit in the siding alongside the down line. The stone station building dates from the construction of the line by the L&PJR with the wooden buildings and platforms being later LNWR additions. Photo credited to D. Thompson.
