Cloughton

The former station at Cloughton on the Yorkshire coast, opened by the Scarborough and Whitby Railway in 1885. Closed along with the rest of the line in 1965, the old station is now a beautifully converted railway-themed tea room with additional al fresco facilities provided on the old platform and adjacent garden on the other side of the building. The open area in the foreground is part of the Scarborough - Whitby coastal path. Photographed on 20 April 2009 looking north east.
