Torwoodlee North Viaduct

Near Torwoodlee the Gala water makes several turns before it runs into Galashiels. Immediately north and south of Torwoodlee tunnel were two bridges, both of which have been partially demolished. This is the bridge (a substantial structure) to the north of the tunnel. The Cattle creep through the southern section survives, with astounding masonry and pointing which looks almost as good as new.
