Pomathorn Halt
View north as class J37 no 64587 stands at Pomathorn at the head of the SLS Farewell to Peebles railtour on 3 February 1962, with the locomotive straddling the level crossing over the B6372. The imposing building in the background is the former Pomathorn paper mill, currently (2009) in use as a storage facility. Pomathorn station closed in 1962 and is now a private house see image 6277.
