Meldon

An eastbound freight headed by North Blyth J27 0-6-0 no 65834 trundles east through Meldon (closed to passengers in 1952) on the Wansbeck Valley line between Scosgap and Morpeth in the 1960s. This picturesque Northumberland byway closed completely in 1966.
