Burton and Holme
Sixty years after closure in 1950 Burton and Holme station still stands alongside the West Coast mainline and is now a private residence. Situated around one mile west of Burton village, and one mile south of Holme, the station was more or less in the middle of nowhere leading to its early closure. Map reference SD 522774
