70013 Oliver Cromwell heading west with a special to Newport via Bristol Parkway and the Severn Tunnel on 1 March. Taken on the GWR mainline close to the village of Uffington about ten miles east of Swindon. The engine had just taken water at Challow and was accelerating away with great gusto. Very pleasing to the ear.
