Carlisle
Stanier Coronation Pacific no 46255 City of Hereford casts a giant shadow over Carlisle after emerging from below Victoria Viaduct soon after restarting the 10-coach RCTS Three Summit Tour on 30 June 1963. The locomotive took this leg of the special north as far as Carstairs having taken over the train at Carlisle from A4 no 60023 Golden Eagle. See image 29438
