Gourock

Looking towards Gourock station in February 1966 with e.c.s. coming in, having been stabled somewhere popular with seagulls. A 2-6-4T is at the water column on the extreme right, an ABC Class Ferry is on the Dunoon service and DEPV Talisman (in her final operational year) is on the wires. Just in front of the ferry's bow can be seen the oil tank wagons used to deliver fuel to the ships. The white objects lying alongside the main line are components for the cls cable troughs being installed at that time.
